New classes default to IB (+1.0). Add your other classes to see your full weighted GPA.
US high schools usually give IB classes the same bonus as AP: A = 5.0, B = 4.0, C = 3.0. Choose “AP / IB” as the level for each IB class.
Your IB Diploma score (out of 45) is separate from your GPA. Colleges see both.

Most US high schools weight IB classes like AP: +1.0 point, so an A is 5.0.
Your GPA uses your class grade from your school, not the IB exam score. If your school only reports 1–7, ask your counselor how it converts; a common approach is 7 = A, 6 = A-/B+, 5 = B, 4 = C.
At most schools they're weighted the same. A few schools give HL a slightly bigger bonus.
